Scientific Meeting & Outreach Committee
Suggest a meeting topic, suggest speakers, or be a speaker.
Champion/Assist the organization of virtual and in-person Scientific events.
Communications, Marketing or Technology Committees
Manage outreach via our website, mailing list platforms, and social media (MarCom).
Support the technical execution of virtual events.
Annual Vendor Exhibit Committee
Help plan and organize our flagship annual Vendor Exhibition
Provide on-site volunteer support for the exhibition or other events.
Social Gathering & Organizational Meetings Committee
Champion a community building social event including location and/or food
Organizational/Team Building Events for LRIG Philadelphia Volunteers
Venue Relations Committee
Suggest, investigate and evaluate locations for any of our hosting needs.
Identify “Organizational Meeting Location” where we can invite all members.
Let us hear from YOU regarding possible Future Events: Talks, Panel Discussions, Virtual Scientific Meeting, Social Events, Meeting Venues, etc.!

The LRIG Philadelphia Chapter serves the Delaware Valley, connecting professionals from the region's pharmaceutical, biotechnical, CRO, consultant, and academic sectors.
History
The LRIG Philadelphia Chapter was founded in 2004 by Tony Nardei. Formed in late 2005 with its first Board, the chapter incorporated in 2006 and achieved 501(c)(6) status in 2011.
Goal
To facilitate the ability of members to interact and share their questions and knowledge on areas of common interest:
Innovative & novel technologies
Effective reduction to practice of more established technologies
Increased effectiveness and efficiencies for the Laboratory Scientist.
Technology/Vendor Exhibition: Annual showcase of laboratory automation, software, reagents, and consumables.
Scientific Meetings: Annual in-person event focused on high-impact themes and emerging trends in the life sciences. Virtual "Lunch-N-Learn" presentations allow members to share expertise; sessions are recorded and available on YouTube.
Social Gathering and Organizational Meeting: Informal events designed to foster community and shape the chapter's future. All in a relaxed setting with food and drink to identify new volunteers and gather member feedback on future activities.

Free Attendance: Never a charge to attend
Free Food: A Generous Supply of Free Food
Networking: Provide a dedicated platform for scientists and engineers to share ideas and foster regional collaboration
Philadelphia Advisory Committee (PAC)
